From the lush highlands of Sidama, Ethiopia—near the village of Daye Bensa—comes our Shanta Golba lot, a washed heirloom variety grown between 1,950–2,500 meters. Over 1,200 smallholder farmers contribute their ripe cherries to the Shanta Golba washing station, where meticulous sorting and traditional raised-bed drying under natural shade yield a coffee of striking clarity and depth.
This lot represents the very best of Ethiopia’s harvest, typically selected from the middle to end of the season when high-elevation cherries reach their peak. The result is a cup that balances rich sweetness with layered acidity—an elegant reflection of Sidama’s unique terroir.
